The Tamarind Village is a boutique Lanna Thai style hotel situated in the old part of Chiang Mai. The hotel is low rise and consists of a number of buildings clustered around courtyards. All the buildings, design and furnishings are made to traditional local design thus making it a showpiece of local culture and skills. Its layout and design make it appear as a small stylish village. This is the place to come, to experience an authentic Lanna Thai atmosphere and get away from the more usual hotel experience. It is located in an area of Chiang Mai where you will find many ancient temples and points of interest. It easy to get to any point in the city, whether it be the Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai University or Tapae Rd (town centre) area.

Tamarind Village has 40 tastefully decorated rooms arranged around courtyards. All are built and designed in local Thai style and are furnished with white linen and locally made teak furniture. There are standard, superior and deluxe rooms.

There is a swimming pool, surrounded by trees and traditional style buildings, and an open air restaurant to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
