Mae Sa Elephant Camp - Half Day Tour (CMHD5)
This tour starts at 8.30am.
You are picked up from your hotel by your guide.
Drive north-west of Chiang Mai through the picturesque Mae Sa valley (approx 12kms) to the Mae Sa
Elephant Camp.
At the elephant camp explore around the camp and see the elephants
demonstrating their skills. There is an extra option of a 1hr elephant ride. (This
is not included in the cost). This
tour is therefore suited to groups who have only some members wishing to
take the elephant ride. The camp has an elephant nursery and elephant
paintings for sale which are usually being demonstrated.
With the remaining time, we visit the orchid farm and a centre making paper
from elephant dung..
Then drive back to Chiang Mai
The tour ends when you are taken back to your hotel at approx. midday.
Note: This is a private tour and entrance fees are
included. Lunch is not included.
Elephant riding is an extra option - cost is 1200Bt/elephant for 1hr and
800Bt/elephant for half an hour (2 people per elephant).

This tour is a private trip to visit the elephant
camp nearest to Chiang Mai. It is a good option if you need to be back to
Chiang Mai early afternoon, or have some members that do not want to ride on
the elephants. The camp has an elephant nursery and demonstrations of elephant
painting, with finished works of art for sale.
