Day
1
Arrive
in Chiang Mai. Transfer from the Airport to your hotel. In the evening
attend a traditional Khantoke dinner - traditional Northern Thai food and
Thai dancing. (D)

Day 2 Tour
the most famous temple of Chiang Mai - Doi Suthep. Situated on the hills
overlooking Chiang Mai, the temple offers a panoramic view of the area.
After lunch, tour some of the handicraft centres. You will be able to see
many of the items being made and have the chance to buy souvenirs and
gifts. (B,L)

Day 3 A
trip to the Chiang Dao Elephant Camp - first you will see a demonstration of
the elephants' skills and then take an elephant ride for approx. 1 hr. to a
Lisu hilltribe village. Followed by a relaxing cruise down the river on a
bamboo raft. (B,L)

Depart from Chiang Mai, for your next destination.

A Taste of Chiang Mai

Day 1

Visit the Doi Inthanon National Park and the highest
mountain in Thailand. Visit the summit of the mountain and it's twin chedis. Explore some
of the nature trails, waterfalls and hilltribe villages. Also see an agricultural research
station which grows a variety of crops and gives us an idea of what kind of crops
sustain this agricultural area. (B,L)

Depart from Chiang Mai, for your next destination.
