Visit a selection of the city's temples. Chiang Mai has hundreds of temples, this tour takes in four of the most important. First visit Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple, built by King Mengrai who donated the land around his first palace to build the temple. Then visit Wat Phra Singh another temple which is an example of fine Lanna architecture. Afterwards visit Wat Suan Dokh with its large open air viharn and lastly Wat Jed Yot with its distinctive 7 spired chedi. All these temples are situated in the city area and are located approx. a 10 min drive from one another. If time permits we will include other temples.
If you particularly wish to visit a temple that hasn't been mentioned, please let us know and we will try to include it.
This tour ends when you are taken back to your hotel at approx midday. or 4pm, depending on whether you took the tour in the morning or afternoon.
